The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has released documents regarding the Kinshasa Circular Railway, which is currently under construction.

• Information on the route of the Kinshasa Ring Road (Locade)
• The optimal route, determined based on studies conducted more than 10 years ago, was set to pass through the city periphery and city centre.
• Two ring roads, one in the southwest and one in the southeast, are currently underway.

• The total length of the two ring roads is 63km, stretching from N'djoku Road to Mont Ngafula.
• South-East Ring Road : passes through Buma, Mokali, N'djili, Brasserie, Grand Hôtel, Kimwenza, De la Paix and Mitendi.
• South-West Ring Road : runs from Mitendi through Kimvula, Mfuti, Ngudiabaka, Ngombi, Djokol to Mbudi.
• Clearing misunderstandings
• Kinshasa's ring road does not pass through the "Kimbang Church concession."
• However, temporary detours may be provided within the area to expedite construction work.
• We plan to formally seek permission from Kimbangu Church.

This press release was issued in response to the misunderstandings that have arisen among religious groups regarding the ring road construction plans, in order to clear up the misunderstandings and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
